Cloned Baby to Vanish, Clonaid Announce

President, Ms. Brigitte Boisselier, of Clonaid is still unable to prove that her company cloned a baby, while the company itself, doesn't officially exist.

French chemist, Brigitte Boisselier, said the American parents of a baby she claimed to be the world's first cloned baby, will not declare it an American citizen, will not allow DNA tests, and plan to remove themselves from the public controversy over the cloning.

“I will not have contact with them anymore,” says Ms. Boisselier.

The retreat of the parents breaks an agreement she had with them, they received the cloning service for free, but their wishes will be respected, she claims.

This was just one of the difficulties she faced before a hand picked number of journalists at Toronto. She chose one of the most expensive conference rooms in the city, declaring her costs have risen since she revealed the secret cloning program on December 27th, 2002.

Her organisation is in a legal battle over custody of the cloned child.

The French government making matters worse with a draft law, which could cause her further problems, the French stating human cloning “a crime against the human species” and punishable by more than twenty years in prison.

She also claimed reporters had not treated her cloning announcements with enough respect, as several of the media outlets, including The Globe, Mail and CBC were banned from the conference.

Ms. Boisselier describes herself as a priestess of a religion founded by 'aliens', a Quebec based cult called Raelians.

Clonaid vice president Thomas Kaenzig testified in a Florida court, the company is not incorporated anywhere and has no board of directors.
